what is grace?
How many times will I fall into sin? How many times will I abuse His grace? Blow again the nails Spit disdain Token objection to lose yet again Do I even glance at the crown of thorns before turning back into my shame? How can He look at me And love me? He sees into my heart and loves me My darling Christ: everything I am not and will never be My Lord above will not flee from my filth He descended down and lifted me out He licked his thumb and wiped my wounds Though they were crimson he made them white as snow He'll never be okay with my sin, but he does not turn his face from me. My Beloved, do not let me run from You again. I love you. Amen
