What if?
What if I'm scared, what if I fail? I can't hold on, I climb on the rail, What if I'm tired, now slips a tear, I'm only a human, it's too much to bear. What if I fight, I'm far too weak, The voices too loud, it reaches its peak, What if I fall, but don't hit the ground, That last bit of hope, it cannot be found. What if we ran, far— far away, Just so you know, I'm not one to betray, What if we're too late, we can't take the turn, It may be cold, yet I still feel the burn.
