What I Fear
it's not the dark or monsters at night, it's not the thunder or losing a fight. What I fear lives deep inside, A quite place where secrets hide. I fear being alone, no one to care I fear reaching out and no one's there I fear the words I'll never say, The chance lost, just thrown away I fear the mirror, the face I see The part of myself that don't feel free I fear being judged not being enough Trying to act strong when life get tough. But most of all, I fear I'll lose The love I've given, the life I choose. it's not the shadows, it's the screams, it's waking up to shattered dreams.
