What do i want?
I don't know what I want from life, some days I want nothing at all, Other days I crave everything, desperate to have it all. Maybe love, maybe peace, maybe someone who understands, A place to call my own, a life I've built with my own hands. I want a sky I could fly through, a good day I could cry in, A path I could pave myself, a war I could finally win. Someone to dial when it's dark, a friend who'd answer the call, Courage to let go of people, or the luck to have it all. I want a lot, I know I do, my expectations stretch so wide, But when I can barely meet my needs, where do my dreams reside? Can I be what I dream to be when surviving takes my air, When the weight of wanting everything leaves me frozen right there? Maybe I don't need it all at once, just one thing I can hold, One step, one breath, one reason to keep moving, keep being bold. I don't know what I want from life, but somewhere deep inside, I know I want to want again—and that's enough to be my guide.
