What Do I Do?
What do I do when everything I built just falls apart, When tragedy arrives and breaks the chambers of my heart? Do I scream into the void or do I silently comply, Do I fight to stay composed or finally let myself cry? What do I do when loss shows up and takes what I hold dear, When heartbreak is the only sound my shattered soul can hear? Do I reach for someone's hand or do I suffer this alone, Do I try to stay afloat or let the current take me home? What do I do when the world feels heavy, cruel, and unfair, When I'm drowning in the wreckage and there's no one anywhere? Do I pretend that I'm okay, keep wearing the disguise, Or do I finally admit that I don't have all the answers, all the whys? What do I do? I guess I breathe, I take it day by day, I let myself feel broken while I search for words to say. There's no manual for tragedy, no script for getting through, So I'll figure it out as I go—because that's all I can do.
