WHAT DISTANCE COULDN'T ERASE
Once, your smile lit moons in my sky, Now clouds have formed where stars ran high I whisper du‘as, though we're apart, For Allah still guards what left my heart. I recall the days you’d laugh with me, Like rivers flowing, wild and free. Now silence blooms where joy once grew But still, I send my prayers to you. May Ar-Rahman ease your way, And guide you to His light each day. May your steps find barakah and peace And all your quiet aches release. Though season change and hearts may drift, I cherish you , a silent gift. For bonds once built for Allah's sake, Stay written, even if they break. I won't forget your golden soul Your presence helped to make me whole. So may your Rizq be sweet and wide, And may no tear in you abide. We may not laugh like days before But love like ours lives at its core. For the sake of Allah, I still care... including when you're unaware If paths align again one day, And Allah wills, we’ll find our way But till that time, I gently part... With salaam and love, from a healing heart.
