What autumn left behind
The world was golden once, beneath the fading trees, And every leaf recalled what used to be. The air still carries whispers of your name, While autumn burns in colors just the same. Now silence sits where laughter used to stay, The hours drift like clouds that lose their way. Your absence fills the corners of the air, And yet — the world keeps turning, unaware. The world moves on, it always will, The nights grow quiet, the air grows still. I’ve learned that not all love will stay, And some stories end — that’s okay.
