Weird day.
In a world of strange and twisted fate, Today unfolds, a peculiar date. After years of avoidance, we finally meet, A reunion of souls, both bitter and sweet. Awkwardness lingers in the air, But two friends join, a comforting pair. I am their replacement, it seems, Yet I care not for such trivial schemes. Today, we share this group anew, Emotions swirling, a complex brew. Happiness, awkwardness, sadness, and ire, Conflicting feelings, a burning fire. Words elude me, emotions run deep, Trying to capture this moment, I weep. Three feet apart, you stand so near, A rare opportunity, both strange and clear. A conversation unfolds, unexpected delight, Your actions, entertaining, a curious sight. Even if hatred seeps from your core, It eases my heart, just a little more. Bittersweet, this event shall remain, Etched in memory, like an everlasting chain. For as long as I can, I'll hold it dear, A reminder of a day, both far and near.
