THE FULANI EASTER MASSACRE IN NIGERIA: Why create heat during Easter? Violence, bit by bit, is bitter. Many souls’ lives were squandered, And valuable things were plundered. An inner sob from those children, Projecting panic to the brethren. A foe from within, removing people from their hide. What a melancholy massacre— Sacrificing innocent souls is not a MasterCard That can’t guarantee your paradise. Be wise; don’t be too late to realize. You, who are supposed to be a guide, Are now sacrificing people’s lives without being kind. After your departure from this planet, What do you want to leave for people to remember? What a bad memento left on the internet, For your people to discuss with deep regret. Let’s leave a good legacy for future generations. Please, have a rethink—put those victims into consideration. Painting the nation red with blood, Different stains on the walls like splashes of mud. Creating war is wayward; It only moves our country backward. For that, you deserve no good reward. So let’s do what will move our nation forward....
