Weary Yet Unbroken
Yah, my body and soul are exhausted, drained of vitality, Yet, my heart remains resilient, unwavering in its tenacity, Though fatigue besets me, and despair's dark shadows loom, My heart still whispers courage, urging me to persevere, to hold on to hope's sweet bloom. In moments of desperation, when quitting seems the easiest way, My heart intervenes, steadfast, reminding me to face another day, As long as breath remains, hope's embers glow, a beacon in the night, Guiding me through life's labyrinth, toward the promise of a brighter light. Let me not be swayed by the opinions of others, nor seek to impress, But rather, let my actions be motivated by a willingness to express, The depths of my devotion, the sincerity of my heart, And in all things, may Your will be done, my soul's utmost aim and highest art. When I stray, dear Yah, gently guide me back to Your loving fold, Pour out Your Holy Spirit, that I may be led, my heart and soul made whole, Though my bones may be dry, my body weak, and my spirit worn, I know that I am strong, empowered to persevere, to pull the rope to the end, where love and hope are born.
