Weary Soles
I'm tired of my shoes never being quite tied. Tired of just wandering streets, wishing I had died. I'm tired of all the gum I find sticking to my shoes, and tired of all the passerbys walking home in twos. I'm tired of rounding corners thinking that I'm somewhere new. Of North Liar Boulevard and Coward Avenue. I'm tired of passing places where the two of us would talk. I'm tired of my footsteps, and tired of the walk.
