Weary Eyes
Tiredness seeps deep into my bones, A weariness that I've always known. Heavy eyelids and a drooping head, Yearning for the comfort of my bed. Thoughts and worries swirl in my mind, Keeping me awake as I lay reclined. A heavy burden that I cannot shake, An endless cycle that I cannot break. But still, I rise to face the day, Determined to find a different way. To live my life with energy and zest, And leave this tiredness behind in the rest. So I take a deep breath and close my eyes, And let the weariness slowly subside. For tomorrow is a brand new start, And I'll face it with a rested heart.
