we were happy once upon a time laying on the couch together every night watching blue blood Tom Selleck and solving crimes your body against mine enjoying TV while holding you tight it was good morning I love you have a good day it was call me when you get there I miss you already it was there's so much I want to do but all you had to do was say stay and I would give up whatever it was just to hold you steady our good night kiss we always knew where it led we shared so much together enthralled and ecstasy the whole world could be in Flames but I was happy in bed that was my life everyday with you a fantasy we were so happy before the darkness came how did we let it corrupt us so much I was so in love and you we're the same how did we let it keep us from Love's touch I don't miss you because of who you are I miss you because of who we were it may not have been our fault by far but how it ended was of that I'm sure
