We Poets Are Unseen We poets are unseen. We write, but read within unsure whether to share or send it to a friend. Why are poets not known? Why are writers not acknowledged? Is it just words? No! Poetry is not only words — it is emotions: pains from the world, scars from thorns, heartbreak from lack of trust. They are experiences that are felt, life lessons spoken in words, motivations that keep you going, feelings felt when unsure. Poetry is not just letters or sentences; it holds experiences, certainties, uncertainties and many other things. I hope poets will be known — not only from our homes, but shown to the world, so it can see us whole.
