We may forget
In this shallow place and time, where our value rests on material means, where principles and value mean very little, our collective demise is staring us in the face, because our spirit has left us and we hold no care for our brothers and sisters. When our individual tragedies and trauma arrive, we will remember, because we know this, but we may forget. We may forget that this, our existence, was never meant to be like it is now. We may forget that our peace of mind, the growth or repair of our very soul rest on our accountability, on our positive contribution to healing. All of us should know better, but we may forget.
