we can't make it

i feel your eyes lingering on me as I walk away. your words you say, are the ones making me stay. i loved loving you, i loved you more than you could ever know, and you loved me more than I knew you would ever show yet I will always come back to you. i wish we could grow together. but that's not gonna happen. it can't, not this time.
