We are the Outsiders
We are the outsiders, looking in Weird, strange, and odd We are the broken hearted We are the ones unheard by God We live in a world where we don't belong We are the social pariahs Outcasts We stand in the shadows We never come into the light We creep in darkness comfortablly We keep out of sight We are just like you But you don't accept that nor see You just write us off and go about you lives so freely We are destitute and broken we are shaped in shame and should things not go your way it is us, who you blame Our souls are old and wise We actually all have names We are individuals, Unlike the upper crust claims But as we live mislabelled Chastised for not fitting in We humbly accept our fate as dirt under the feet of men We are the outsiders The weird, the strange, the odd We are the heartbroken... The ones that are unheard by God...
