We are but...
We are but guests in this world, Yet a moment here is like a bright dream, Collecting moments that shimmer like sunbeams, Through time we rush, soaring into the expanse. The wind whispers to us what is important, And calls us to explore a multitude of names, Here we encounter joy and sorrow's darkness, Opening our hearts, breathing in tune with fate. Step by step, slowly immersing in all, Tomorrow we might find ourselves in the heavens, A rainbow of hopes sparkles along this path, Sharing the burden of our lives, Weaving fates into the pattern of unknown dreams. Eternity calls, but we don't hurry to it, No one knows where our trace will end. Somewhere among the stars, we’ll leave all our dreams, Leaving life like a flower in its final dawn, We’ll depart, transformed once more. We are but guests, yet our hearts are full of fire, Laughter and tears — all that we are given, In one moment, yet as if in eternal slumber, Like light, they will sparkle in our souls, So we can live, never fading away.
