We are born in the shadows.
We are born in the shadows, knowing nothing, cradled by time, dependent on care. Then come the wings, the will to soar, don't let this world strip them bare. We are free, for God has breathed into us the gift of will. When doubt and fear entangle you, who are they to bind you still ? You were made to walk your path, not theirs, not bound by chains. You are free, it's God's own gift, to rise above the pain. No one knows the hour or wind, when life begins to sever. So live while breath still warms your chest, for nothing lasts forever. We came to this curse world with nothing, and with nothing we shall part. But while, we walk and walk boldly still, with faith, and with a heart. We are born in the shadows, knowing nothing, yet still, we rise and fly.
