Water
If you go into it, it will softly engulf you, Like arms that know every curve of your soul. It pulls you close, not to drown, but to hold, Like it's always known how to keep you whole. It reads your skin, feels your pulse, Whispering things you don’t say out loud. It flows in you, a hidden river, Washing away the weight you’ve carried forever. You drift, not lost, but found in its grace, As it moves through you, you leave no trace. It cradles your thoughts, your quiet pain, And carries them away like whispers of rain. In its depth, you find yourself again, A mirror, a friend, a path without end. It listens, but never speaks too loud, A keeper of secrets, beneath the shroud. Water doesn’t forget—it knows your name, It’s the same in every drop, yet never the same. Soft, yet relentless, it touches your core, And once you’re in, you’re never quite what you were before. This is water.
