Water
An afterimage, they love A sculpture chiseled out of their own dreams. If I were to sink into the cold waters, Weighed down, They would quell their doubts And say I was deluded. They would rub their hands and pray And lie to themselves that Satan took me away. But a mistake is made over the course of a thousand times. A flaw is forged by error after compounding error. If I join the water, it would be because they dammed a sea, and left it to roil.
