WATCHING YOU BEFORE IT ENDS
Eyes glaring at the remaining rays of sun As I can feel the shadow of mist rapidly run Towards the walls and roofs of our palace Portraits that we made are now apathetic canvas Years of lullabies in the blankets of "me and you" But awaken that it was all fiction, never true Staring at each letter of your name The only word that I can read is "pain" Thinking of what could have possibly gone wrong What happened to the promises that once stood strong Our love was the bridge leading us to our wishes But you're now just looking at me fall into endlessness This story is about to reach its final page But I know that each chapter will be the bars of my cage The poor boy who would putrefy on a dark shade As he hears the sound of your steps slowly fade Our song is approaching the outro and closing beat But please know that each lyric hangs on my lips If you desire to continue making music with him I'll just always linger on the history of our rhythm Now sitting on my tomb, watching you before it ends Seeing your smiles with him, my soul begins to lament But if he is now the one who defines your heaven I'll accept my new role as the devil, but never the villian
