Wasn't Always..

Bill wasn't always unhappy, but a lifetime of being treated like nothing drove him to sadness. He wasn't always without confidence, but a lifetime of being called ugly, dealing with rejection, and never being good enough for a relationship shattered it. He wasn't always suffering from depression, but a lifetime of people making him feel worthless had him seeking therapy. He wasn't always negative, until negativity was only what he was subjected to. He wasn't always isolating, but too many "nice" people using him made him want to stay home on days off. He wasn't always thinking about death, but the loneliness and realization that he'll always be alone makes him ready to give up.
