Thought you'd be different When you told me you loved me, But you proved you were the same as them. Wished I could tell you my secrets But I'm glad I held back. Coz now you've got nothin'over me. Hope there was something to prove, About your existence in my life But,There's nothing left to remind me of you, Except the text that went through to you, Waiting for your reply, It kept me awake all night. It's been a long time since that night , Still wish you'd reply to that text of mine, Tell me...please tell me it's just a prank. Tell me we can go back to how we were, I just wanna know if you were ever mine, Or whether everything I believed was a lie. The thought will always remain, somewhere at the bottom of my heart, But regardless, I will continue to move on with my life
