War Within
I wear my battle scars like war paint, for anyone to see. Pain behind these eyes, too much for me to keep. how it can define you if you dare to leave it be. There are those that are for you and those who are not, but the war within is the hardest ive fought. Always with the critisism, like Im never good enough. I did not get a choice in life, I had to be tough. And if i looked just how i felt, Id be looking pretty rough. Always thinking lifes to short to be dealing with all this stuff. Always running from the pain inside, just a prisoner to this mind. Too distracted and far too lost to keep track of time. Desperation is setting in, its my soul i need to find.
