War (Part 1 of 2)
The world has always taken sides. There have been wars; so many wars. Then at the end of World War II Two types of nations led the world. On either side their way was right, And so a competition grew. In that time there was a cold war: War so cold that peace was frozen. A time of war; a time of peace, There was no fighting between these two nations in the war; Only spying and deception, And of ruthless competition. A bloodless, ruthless test of visions. Built a stockpile of great weapons; Built and stored atomic weapons, Terribly destructive weapons, These great weapons of destruction. They developed other methods; These methods for the killing fields, Methods for the human slaughter. These methods that were never used; Weapons never used in fighting, Weapons never used in maiming, Weapons never used for slaughter. Built great armies in the meantime; Waiting for the war to happen, Waiting for the peace to shatter, Waiting for the peoples' slaughter.
