Wanderer
I always wondered what my life would be if I stayed on a path not meant for me looking at those thoughts too closely I shrivel until my insides bleed I searched the bushes and trees nearby the rocks, the road, the vast grey sky no answer I find here on this journey I pray and hope it doesn't end with me on a gurney I see others make their destination why can't I find my way to salvation? it's not heaven nor hell I seek but my purpose, what makes me unique I wear no shoes, only calusses beneath I bare my skin from toes to teeth and yet as real as I am with honesty in my heart I am as I was from the start
