wake up.
were on the highway, your eyes are shut. I wish you'd wake up reunite with yourself, circa 2007 before you started popping pills when you'd sniff the scent off of roses when you didn't worry about those baggies in your purse when the white powder around your nose was from powdered donuts when you had no clue what narcan was used for, and never imagined you'd have a bottle in every bag. you can't stay alive to get home you swerve, right to left directly into oncoming traffic it flashes inside my iris' constantly the sight of us bleeding, cold, barely on this planet even then in that bone chilling moment, you won't open your eyes.
