Wake
As the first rays of dawn pierce the horizon, I awaken, my tired eyes gently coaxed into consciousness by the tender touch of my own hands. The clock strikes six in the early morning, and I am spellbound by the magnificent rise of the sun, which adorns the sky with vibrant shades of gold and crimson. A tremor runs through my hands, a clear reminder of the countless reasons for this fluttering unease that resides within me. Before me, a solitary candle flickers, its delicate flame weaving a mesmerizing dance in the tranquil atmosphere of the morning. I shift my gaze towards the window, where a bird glides gracefully across the expansive sky, embodying freedom and the promise of new beginnings. Yet, in this moment, I find it hard to breathe. The shadows of my mental health seem to mock me, but I resolve to rise, to stand tall against my fears. I will not be defeated; I will forge ahead, and I will emerge triumphant.
