Waiting to see the moon
Sorrow and melancholy ran through her veins She looked onward trying to contain her tears Oh how she wished she did not feel like this How she longed for happiness instead in its place is depression She tries and tries and yet no one is proud No one cares enough to ask if she is okay Yet she smiles and pretends She is a very happy princess Waiting for her one true love That's all she was meant to do Just wait She lost everything, yet she waits in silence Trying not to scream She stays and looks at the moon Longing to grow a pair of wings to see it She can't though So all she does is wait Until her one true love can save her from herself
