waist bands
Waist band...... Before the poverty stricken hut and body, Shining waist bands of hope and freedom, Loosing it's tightness falling over the ploughed, Grounds of struggles and reflected over the strewn seeds of blended nibs and flags, Flowing into the shells of the twlights..... Opening the closed holed door of her hut, An old woman like embodiment of feeble bones, Lamenting, facing her face towards the horizon, Where star of hopes used to appear..... Where is the freedom..... Where was my comrades .... An arrow struck on throat of a singing bird answers; All are gone over the status of freedom, A few as creepers, Growing in the foes gardens.... Enjoying without knowing the glaze of knives..... No one knows the freedom roaming still as as infant refugee amidst the darkness of struggles.... (C) Ravindranath kunnath Kochi, Kerala, India.
