Void's Embrace
I can taste the blackberries, On the warm summer days of youth, Memories of fireflies and honeysuckle, Even amidst the abyss of pain, Those joys stand undeterred, indomitable, Few things follow suit, dragged into tragedy, So much good swept away by pursuit of joy, But once in a true moon, the stars align, Apollo shall then ferry, The good, the pure, the just, the couth, The ride rockets forth, so you may want to buckle, Through the good and the bad and the rain, One word at a time is written; our fable, Beloved voids embrace like gravity, He finally answered my prayers as a boy, And this bliss forever will be all mine.
