I know now that you aren't speaking to me You're looking in her eyes And telling her to go, pointing to the door In the same tone you used When I opened the car door first Instead of you Now I wonder No one else is in your way So she must be going first Just as I did Now there's nothing But a murmured heartbeat As I weep again
