Voice Of Fear
In shadows cast, where thoughts entwine, A voice unseen, a whispered line, Behind my eyes, it takes its stand, The voice that haunts, the reprimand. A spectral whisper, fear it breeds, A phantom's counsel, sinister deeds, In the corners of my mind, it dwells, A chorus of doubt, where darkness swells. It preaches doubts, sows seeds of dread, Fills my heart with what's unsaid, Yet in this struggle, I find my might, To face the voice, to seek the light. For in its grip, I'll not be bound, I'll turn the tide, I'll stand my ground, I'll silence the voice that seeks to mire, With courage and hope, my soul on fire. With strength, I'll banish the night's dread, Embrace the dawn, where fears are shed, For in my heart, a choice I've wed, To conquer the voice in the back of my head.
