Voice
In the night, the darkness consumed me. I crave silence and tranquility, but all I heard were whispers and distorted noises. I screamed and screamed, perhaps the voice grew numb inside my head. A spiral of thoughts weaved a web of cycles, tangled in knots, making it difficult to breathe. When the world sleeps, my gaze lingers on the ceiling, losing myself in the speed and wind of the fan. Voices—it's all I hear, inside my mind, inside my mind. Stop it, stop it— let me sleep just once. I scream and scream inside my mind.
