Viscoelastic Heart
My heart dissolves like a wax candle that the fire melts, fire of a passion that always tries to bloom, but that drowns and dies. It also hardens immensely the moment someone tries to get close to it, and it doesn’t stop hardening. Finally, this heart does nothing but shift between dissolving too quickly and hardening just the same. My paper heart, my plastic heart, my heart that hardens and dissolves, which has already lost its true shape. I no longer have a united heart, a warm heart, nor one that is meant to love, for my heart is no longer normal. It has no shape, and it never will.
