Viral
The man had been travelling alone for a long time now, and the loneliness had finally started to weigh heavily on him. The only thing that got him through was his daydreams of becoming something greater. In his daydreams, he was a powerful entity, a viral mutation experiment gone wrong that had mutated him into something far greater. He had unleashed his newfound powers on the cities of the world, using them to control the population and impose his own will. But how could he ever hope to make these dreams a reality? He was, after all, a mere mortal. But still, as he stumbled on through his isolated journey, he kept on dreaming. Perhaps, one day, the scientists of the future could hear his plea and somehow grant him a mutation. He would be unstoppable then, able to bring order to the chaos of the world and ensure that justice was served, or perhaps he would turn to evil and wreak havoc on the innocent. But as he kept walking, he knew that one day this fate may come to pass, and the dream of becoming a powerful mutant virus unleashed on the world were not so far fetched after all. He just had to have faith. Written by AfterDeath_XXX
