Veil Of Secrets
In shadows deep, a doubt takes flight, A whisper in the heart, a flicker of light. Should secrets bloom like flowers fair, Or remain locked in a hidden lair? The fear creeps in, a chilling breeze, A cautionary tale, a forest of trees. For trust, once shattered, is hard to mend, So choose your confidants, my friend. Yet, in the dance of doubt and trust, Lies the balance, the choice is just. To open up, to let someone in, Is to risk, to hope, to begin. Not all may prove their worth, it's true, But some will cherish the trust in you. With time, the truth shall surely gleam, Who's worthy of your secrets, it will deem. So guard your heart, but don't forget, That bonds are forged through shared regret. In the journey of trust, we find our way, To those who'll listen, come what may.
