Veil of Deceit
Do you not tell the truth too? Do not confess! For it will hunt you. Allow this veil to hide you, It will catch your lies and make them true. "Dear veil, bury the truth!" Oh, you desired greatly. It may hide you so as not to be keenly seen, As you hide secrets no one has ever seen. But is one certain that the truth will sit still? One's existence deems anyone blind, You who hide the lies behind. Who despises lies yet lives in them, You've faced one, Yet you haven't? Wrap me, Yet do not accentuate me. Dance along the wind with me, The veil you wore swaying along, Draping down smoothly. Hide me! Let no one see me, No whit of light will pierce through. Like a sheath on a sharp knife, Yet when unsheathed, will it cut you? Covered with a cloth as clear as a lake, Yet they do not recognize you? You are you yet not, You possess what you have yet not! Will you finally leak the truth within you?
