Vanishing Glimpse
My body didn’t shiver, But I stuttered while talking to you. The air was cool all around, Yet my shirt was soaked in sweat. It wasn’t an interview, Still, I felt nervous inside. Was it a dreaded creature I’d seen, Or just the beauty standing in front of me? I wouldn’t call you the peak, but you are A beauty I had the privilege to see. Dreams we often remember don’t come true, If that’s true, you’ve now vanished without a clue. Looming towards the sky, I keep on trying, Waiting for the day I’ll say goodbye.
