Vampire
The years pass me by Immortal but dumb Don't try to fit in with the minions I'm shunned by the crowd I'm risky and loud I don't care about the opinions I'm wearing a gun I'm weak in the sun And my eyes are red and dry I'm just a baby baby bat that doesn't know how to fly You're the son of the light, You wear your cologne You wake up at noon And smile a lot I'm a creature of night, I'm again on my own Alone with the moon As red as the blood You party and mingle You're loved by the crowd and Your eyes bright and blue as the ocean I hiss at the people, And I'm making faces And biting them out of emotion Sun's too tired to shine Now you're counting sheep, To fall asleep soon And see the stars I climbed up the vine I'm guarding your sleep As well as the moon That shines down on us You're the son of the light, And we'll never meet I don't want you to Feel terror and fear But maybe one night You will wake up to The nightingale's song The same that I hear
