Useless Child
When you were 23, You gave birth to me. Sweet little bundle of joy and unmade plans. Had the whole world at my feet before I could even stand. But as time went on, the depression grew, And by the time I was 13, I already knew That I wasn't ever gonna be anyone in life, I was just a useless child. I had so many ideas, I didn't know what to do. But none of the things couldn't fill the table with food. I'm sorry I couldn't buy you that house up on that hill, Or take care of all your medical bills. I know I could never make you proud, I should've been someone by now. But I just didn't know how. I'm sorry mom and dad, I know I messed up bad. I should've done better I'm sorry mom and dad, For all the time I should've had To get my life together, But I couldn't because I'm a useless child.
