Used To
You used to be my home, a tranquil one Now I feel alienated before you embarked I keep hearing a graveyard kind of voices Maybe that's where I belong without life For what's life without love? You used to be my safe haven A safe and serene place I could go when I am numb Your words were like the sounds of wave so calming and serene But I could only relate with you in the past now Maybe that's a way of telling the world you used to love me You used to be a delight to my eyes And a reason for my art You were the garden I found solace Where beautiful Species of flowers just like you are grow You used to be a walking poetry But now you've ceased to be one O! What a good time it was.
