Urban warriors
Day aftet day as crime is on the rise communities suffer ad youngsters are drawn into a risky duel of life and death where small kids cry as families mourns. Living in the same neighbourhood where night becomes a battlezone of drugs and crime against society whose hate is livid and dreams unknown. With norespect for Mom and Dad, the youth ignores their parents trends. They fight and steal, they rape and kill the people who was once their friends. Why do they inflict pain against their own, harming innocent neighbours and friends. Raping helpless women and little girls, strangling the weak with their bare hands. Caught up in their own gang wars, not heeding to the people's cries. For boys as young as seventeen will leave some tears inside their parents eyes. Shooting each other over money and drugs, defending their turf with their lives. Armed with stolen guns and streetsmart, killing gangsters and druglords in drive- by's. We all aim to be successful; to fear the worst, to do our best. But when the curtain finally closes these urban warriors will be laid to rest. Ronald Albert Davids.
