upon sands of glass
I wake upon sands of glass, never knowing the broken pieces of my past, travel with me until I see, the value of me, I pick up the pieces one by one, never fully knowing what I had done, but sorrow leaks from my eyes, as the broken pieces reflect the sky, forever woven in the fabric of time, memories of loss and pain I find, cut the fabric with the glass, as forever fades, sorrow lasts, we notice our future, and what it could mean, if we change the stars, more can be seen, a detriment to the soul, but forever spoken as a whole, passionate words, of Forever's fate, but will heaven open its gate, the pieces cut so deep, it scars, but my healing comes from the stars
