Upon A Broken Memory
Pinch my eyes shut, Following dark clouds, Rain drops fall, Into my open dying mouth, I drown slowly, A silent despair, Not knowing where you are, But knowing your not there, Please remember me, As I die inside the storm, For your love was my guide, And your smile gave me warmth, I never truly knew the strong feelings I had, The memories that haunt me, Turn a quiet death, sad, Just know this, As I sink to everlasting rest, If I had another chance, I would have given you my best, To show you that you matter, To make you really see, How much your beautiful love, Really meant to me. So as I drift away, Knowing that I failed, Loving me was a mistake, As this is the end of my tale. This poem has a meaning, And you may guess it I bet, This is about lost love, And the horror of Regret
