Unveiling Masks
Maybe it was never meant to be. Maybe it was all a facade after all. Maybe I didn't belong there, but I thought I did. I never did. They never saw me as one of them, or maybe I couldn't be one of them. They didn't care, not even once. Even though they could see through all the fake smiles and pretends, they pretended that it was real. They only cared about the me they wanted to see, but they forgot that wasn't the real me; it was all a mask that used to hide my true face. Why do they hate the real me? Why do I need to pretend that I'm happy around them? I'm not, but do I need to pretend? well I guess I will never know the answer
