Untitled poem
Just stay not forever not even honestly just stay Twenty four hours one slow rotation of the earth before everything collapses before I have to be strong again If the world is ending come over like it matters like I still matter like you once knew my name by touch Sit with me in the silence we ruined pretend this is not borrowed time pretend your heart is not already gone Hold me not to save me not to choose me just enough to stop the shaking Kiss me like a goodbye you are afraid to say like a lie you will never admit I promise I will believe it Give me one last romance soft temporary desperate I know it is fake but my heart does not care Even fake love can feel real when it is the last thing keeping you warm When the world finally ends let it find me here memorizing your breath healing in the arms of someone who was never mine but stayed just long enough...
