Untitled
In the room The lights are on There is laughter, there is fun Shouting, screaming, panic'n their lungs For the party has just begun It is time to present our song The dancers dance, but the music stops Welcome The one To the podium She wakes up Draws the curtains, shuts the doors The lights are off She's on the floor, She's disturbed, and begins to mourn The part of her past, that's past her path, blocks her path Uncorks the bottle, pours the shots The pain is relieving, but it sure won't stop She takes the pen and lights it up The smoke of dawn fills the air But in disorder and in despair She lays on the floor and goes to bed The day is gone. ~She is
