A cry for help, a plea unheard My siblings don't understand, my struggles blurred I need a hand, a financial aid But they turn a blind eye, and leave me dismayed Dad left us too soon, when I was just six years old I know the pain, the struggles to unfold I don't want them to face, what I had to face But they don't see, my own struggles in this place I'm young and still in school, trying to make my way But bills to pay, and a life to sway I'm not asking much, just a little reprieve So I can breathe, and my dreams can leave But they don't get it, they don't understand The weight I carry, the stress I withstand I'm not asking for much, just a helping hand So I can live my life, and make my own stand I want to thrive, not just survive But they don't see, my struggles alive I hope they'll understand, before it's too late And help me out, before my dreams evaporate
